Every Unstore Decor customer has a version of this story: a garage that stopped fitting a car sometime around 2019. An attic ladder that only gets used twice a year and somehow still throws out a back every time. A holiday collection that grew a little more every season, paired with a storage plan that never did.

We started Unstore Decor in Ann Arbor because we were living exactly that story — and because “just get rid of some of it” turned out to not be a real solution anyone was actually willing to implement. (We tried. It went about as well as you’d expect.)

So we built the thing we actually wanted: someone who shows up, hauls the full bins away, and brings back exactly the right ones the moment the next holiday needs them. No lease. No rented storage unit an hour away. No more “I’ll deal with it this weekend” that never actually happens.

We’re based in Ann Arbor and we like it that way — this isn’t a franchise playbook, it’s a service we run ourselves, for our own neighbors. Every bin is the same standardized size, tracked and sealed at every handoff, so nothing gets mixed up with anyone else’s tinsel. Pricing is flat and posted, not something you have to call and negotiate to find out.
